About us
We define ourselves not just as classical business angels, but as long term partners of and reliable mentors to innovative enterprises in the Food sector. Our objective is to support exciting and tasty Food start-ups with capital, expertise and network. Jointly we discover and win in new markets.
We Food Angels are a professional network of completely independent individuals. Together, we combine knowledge and expertise in the areas of food (including R&D), entrepreneurship (old and new economy), business and transactional law (incl. USA), and finances – a perfect mix.
This makes us flexible, fast in reaction, and decisive.
We invest in the founders.
We invest in the pleasure of food.
Investment
We preferably invest in young food (tech) start-ups, which are either still in the product development phase or just entering the market with market-ready products. In later stages we support dynamic start-ups in stabilizing their growth and accompany them in their sustainable development. Like our broad portfolio, our role as investors is very diverse. We mostly participate in Pre-Seed, Early Stage and A Series investments, and we also act as co-investors of public institutions, VC/Private Equity Companies, Family Offices and other Business Angels. We welcome direct approaches from Food start-ups!

Network
Constant and intense dialogue within our network enables us to identify and support innovations early, and in parallel it lets us optimally develop our investments in a strong environment.
Our expanded network consists of Food Companies, Institutions, VC/Private Equity Companies, Family Offices, Business Angels and successful founders.
For our Start-ups we provide access to our network and to our expertise. We accompany our founders on their entrepreneurial path and support them actively, if necessary or desired. We see trustful and respectful relationships as the basis for a rewarding cooperation within our network.
